Reeminiscence: beauty blender

Hello! so, I was scrolling (poker-faced) on instagram until I came across this baby right here and I immediately thought to myself "BEAUTY NEWS!".
There are some things that are like "meh, whatever" and then there're other things that are like "OMG WHAT?" and this, everyone, is one of them.

The "Miracle Diamond Sponge by Real Techniques" is the newest member to their amazing makeup sponges range and the newest member of the "Bold Metals" collection (yes, just when you thought that the collection couldn't get any more perfect).
Also, my humble pharmacist to be self will gladly ignore the fact that diamonds are not "metals" because honestly, who cares??

If this isn't beauty then I don't know what is...
Real talk over here. It looks quite intimidating to use at first glance. SO many angles and l'm like, how am I supposed to use this? but luckily there was a video posted with a demo and also a picture with instructions. Check them out...

I honestly was shocked at the amount of hate comments on this video. However I can understand why people would think it's gimmicky. I personally would like to try it out. It looks very interesting (and very cute too!)

Can you feel the excitement? I'm sure all the oily folks (like myself) are going to absolutely love this. Beauty blender released not long ago the "Blotterazzi" which is basically oil-absorbing or blotting, beauty blender-looking sponges which you can use when you get oily throughout the day.

I was overly too excited when I watched this video. I just wanted to snatch the blotterazzi from her hands

Suggested Usage:

-Use dry.

Step 1:
-Remove one clean blotterazzi™ from the compact.
-Retain plastic divider to hygienically separate blotters.
-Use dry, as this ensures the exclusive beautyblender® material is in “thirsty” mode and will absorb unwanted shine.

Step 2:
-Place prominent bottom half of blotterazzi gently against larger areas of the face (ie T-zone, cheeks, or chin) to absorb shine and maintain a flawless finish on existing makeup.

Step 3:
-Place fine pointed half of blotterazzi gently against small curves and corners of the face (the temples and under the eyes).
-Cleanse with blendercleanser and dry in a well-ventilated area.

*Gasp* This Beauty blender thing actually looks quite fancy ..
But what is it? and what does it exactly do? That's what I'm trying to figure out.
Whenever I want to check out what's new in the beauty and makeup world I always check Sephora.com and while I was there scrolling I saw something that caught my eyes and it was a fancy beauty blender ring and I immediately thought that this thing is a regular ring that has a beauty blender attached to it and then you can wear it?
That made me cringe for a moment actually :'D

But when I read more about the product I cringed even more haha..
It's just a fancy holder for the beauty blender that beautifully displays the beauty blender and dries it at the same time..
I'm not exactly sure about the technology that actually dries the beauty blender but in my humble opinion I think it's just a holder that you put your blender on top of it and let it dry and that's it (Oh and pay extra cash for it as well)

If you ask me... I'd say no thank you I prefer saving cash and letting my beauty blender

(That I don't own) dry anywhere ..

♥ Next product is the super amazing micro beauty blender .. OMG I was wanting this so badly ever since I met the regular beauty blender, I know you're thinking this is a useless waste of money but I look at it from a different perspective , it's a smaller version for more precision .. For blending concealer for example and perfecting that creamy contour on the sides of the nose and more ..

♥ Can we just have a moment (or two) of silence for these amazing Rouge Louboutin nail polishes ?? They look absolutely gorgeous .. I haven't tried these not only because they occupy a lot of space but also because they are super expensive as far as nail polishes go..
And for a girl who would never spend more than 5 bucks maximum on a nail polish , This is not ever going to be mine since it costs $50.00 YES Just one nail polish bottle that contains so little amount of product costs that much .. I mean they look chic and everything but I prefer Essie haha :'D
