I recently attended a Korean skincare and makeup class by a very skilled Korean instructor, and here's the exact routine we used in class.
But first, let me share with you the ever-confusing order of skincare products.
The exact order we learned is:
1. Cleansing water
2. Cleanser (cream or gel for dry skin; mousse for oily skin)
3. Toner
4. Essence (or sheet mask, containing essence)
5. Serum
6. Lotion (for oily skin)
7. Cream (for dry skin)
We learned that the packaging and delivery of the product don't generally matter as long as you use the right formula for your skin type; it's best to avoid heavy/oily products if you have oily skin. And it's always a good idea to start your routine with water/water-based products and move your way to heavier/oilier products; water helps open up the skin, and oily products help seal this moisture.
Next, I'll show you each product we used in the class with its link (and price). All products were from Hyggee cosmetics. I couldn't find all the products on their official website, so I linked different websites so that you can have an idea of the prices.
1. HYGGEE All-In-One Care Cleansing Water
2. HYGGEE pH Hyaluron Gel Cleanser full size (200 ml) and mini (50 ml)
4. HYGGE Calming Green Flower Sheet Mask
5. HYGGEE Natural Repair Serum
6. Hyggee - Natural Repair Cream
7. HYGGE Vegan Sun Cream
Personally, I really liked the toner pads and the cream, even though it may not be the most suitable for my skin type. I haven't yet tried the sheet mask, but I have high hopes for it based on the ingredients.
